Next up at bat, Pomatomus… which has been languishing in the Basket O Shame since 2007. Word of advice, my darlings, it is a really dumbassed idea to leave charted knitting in gulag for several years without marking the chart. :rip rip rip: Took it back to the ribbing and started over, with stickies and notes this time. Probably not a purse sock, but will make a good project for watching TV.
The relief hitter would be Charade, of which I had knit one of two and stuffed into the BoS in stabby hatred for the splitty ass yarn (Tofutsies). Have pulled out the too tight bindoff, frogged back the ribbing and plan to knit another 3″ before binding back off and starting the 2nd. This, this can live in the purse without too much danger of going horribly awry.
Once these are done, then there’re no more socks in the BoS and I can move on to the other stuff. Finishing is good.

You can knit Pomatomus and watch TV? I bow and scrape to your wonderfulness!! If I knit this while doing anything else, at the end of it, I ripped it all out again.
I love these socks with a passion. But I will never knit them again.
Ooooo! The Pomatomus is lovely! What yarn is that?
And as for soy silk, BLEAH. It’s the one fiber that I flat out won’t work with anymore. It splits, it doesn’t stick, it breaks…it’s AWFUL.
You’re doing so well on cleaning up your WIPs! I wish I could be as inspired….tho’ I’m doing a pretty good job of monogamy on my projects this year…
so far, anyway!
(((hugs)))
