So, using chopsticks for scale, here’s the ponytail we cut off. You can see that it was all dry and splitty and awful, really needed cutting:
I measured and the stick is a bit over 9″ long. Wow. I mean, I know that’s not much, but wow.
I’m very pleased! They aren’t the best pictures of me, I’m super tired, stressed out and totally look it – but I love the hair. I’m having fun playing with it. So far clips and pigtails are a go go gadget go. The curl is all mine, that’s just what it does if I put goop in it and forget about it. I can dry it straight or make nicer ringlets if I feel like really getting fancy. I needed a little “bounce” back in my life, as a friend put it, because a lot of the bounce has been beaten out of it lately. It was the best thing I could have done for myself at the moment. I really needed the boost.
In other news, fresh biscuits, orange chocolate scones and fruit tart came home from culinary school today. Yesterday fresh chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter cookies came home on Tuesday. Pie tomorrow.
We, uh, need to start finding an outlet for the baked goods. Or I need to add a second yoga class and start walking everywhere.

That cut is perfect for you–looks great! H.
So cute! I wish I had curl like that.
Wow! Gorgeous and just right for you. I already knew you are beautiful in person but this is worthy of shouting about.

You look FABulous. I love the first few days after a major haircut, where you just feel light, and your hair ends way sooner than you think it will when you run your fingers through it.
Oh, that I lived in California, I would gladly take on your surplus of baked items.
What a great “do!”
Yes, another spot for the baked goods sounds like the right thing to do!
(((hugs)))
It looks awesome! I can’t wait for spring/warmth (probably end of April) so I can cut mine off! I need the insulation at the moment, though.
Very cute – good choice!
Love the hair cut… it looks great on you!
Hair looks great!
You look great!
Love the new do. Wish you could pass a baked goodie my way.
L.O.V.E. the do! Very, very becoming! And that natural curl – lucky you!
