Shortly after the Thanksgiving holiday, one of my fave local bloggers, Jamie, ran a little feature on Honey&Ollie and did a giveaway of one of my fairy tale pendants. And now I get to design a custom piece for the winner, Julia! I can’t wait to see what it looks like…
This is one I did last year featuring an owl by one of my favorite Victorian illustrators, Arthur Rackham. I incorporated tigers eye beads with artisan lampworked glass from Havana Beads, and copper, which suited the warm tones of the graphic so perfectly. It’s a portion of an illustration from Midsummer’s Night Dream, and one of my more enduring favorites.
