Finally found some time to do a small Etsy update this morning! First off, I’ve got really fun new wax seal designs in the shop. We’ve got a gorgeous vintage compass rose in progress right now, embellished with a natural garnet in the center of the piece. I’m hoping to have it fired, tumbled and patinaed this week. This line, the Charming line, will be expanding throughout the year as I find old wax seals that I like.

A lot going on right now on the bench, as I finish up a bunch of custom work, prepare for upcoming TAG events and giftings, work on the new website, and of course, just try to keep the shop at the Port stocked and interesting!

There’s an Earth Day gifting I’ve got to get cracking on!

I will say that making one piece that will hopefully appeal to Barbra Streisand and Woody Harrelson is proving to be something of a design challenge…

Another design challenge? I got in to the Bead Soup Blog Party!

I’ll be getting some random unknown beads in the mail, a focal and closure and maybe some accent beads. And I get to put them together into something amazing! I’m so excited to be participating in this challenge, it is my first one and I want to make something incredible.

And speaking of challenges, this Sunday of course will be the AJE Earring challenge reveal for weeks 3 and 4. I’m ready to go with my earrings… will reveal them on Sunday!

#1 Oldest Offspring will be coming down from Portland to visit the family tomorrow night, and here for a week, so aside from the AJE reveal, blogging might be a little light in the upcoming days. I am planning to snatch every moment I can with her!
