Last week I talked a little bit about the gap and confessed to being deeply scared of getting into all those little packets of PMC+ that I had lying about the place. Which naturally meant that I had to get into the little packets of PMC lying about the place.
And then I had to play with fire.
and a funny thing happened.
I made the piece that’s been kicking around in my brain since last January, when I took my first PMC intro class from the totally awesomesauce Delia Traister. The piece that’s been bouncing around my sketchbook in various incarnations. It manifested itself right off my workbench, into the fire and then into being.
I’m calling it “Carrie” after a sweet friend, and it’s the first of several new designs that I’m adding to the Stories in Stone collection. Pieces inspired by amazing women, authors, books, poems and stories.
Points if you can figure out which Anne, Frances and Emily I am talking about…
